Enveritas is a leading international trade and development company with a team of 51-200 employees, specializing in sustainability, coffee, technology, supply chains, machine learning, and remote sensing. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to help lead their data quality process end-to-end in Kenya and East Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day end-to-end data quality process in Kenya.
- Generate daily quality control reports from survey data by running analyses.
- Follow up with field teams to receive returned daily and weekly quality control reports and communicate with teams to correct mistakes and improve data quality.
- Monitor the quality of data collected daily and report results to Data and Insights managers.
- Conduct data analysis projects to improve Enveritas’ understanding of coffee industry dynamics in Kenya and East Africa.
- Conduct research related to coffee in Kenya.
- Conduct training of enumerator teams.
- Take part in the coordination of the work of field survey teams alongside the Kenya Operation Manager; this includes travel about 10% of the year.
- Support the Data & Insights Manager and East Africa Lead on special projects and ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Experience managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research with strong data quality management knowledge is highly desirable.
- Puts high attention to detail and helps teams to improve the quality of the data.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications, familiarity with quantitative data collection software/platforms; knowledge of Python or other programming languages beneficial, but not required.
- Experience with coffee farming is highly advantageous (raised in a coffee-growing family and participated in research conducted on coffee).
- Experience with research and data collection processes is highly beneficial.
