Job Summary:
As an Assistant Underwriter at Absa Group, you will contribute essential skills to support general business operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving revenue objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and intermediaries.
- Execute underwriting transactions and related tasks efficiently.
- Print motor certificates, policy documents, and debit notes accurately.
- Issue quotations promptly and process risk notes in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue renewal notices, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Conduct risk profiling on suspect claims to identify and address underwriting gaps.
- Collaborate with the team to meet customers’ expectations and revenue objectives.
