About The Role:

Are you an experienced wordsmith with a history of driving growth through web marketing copy? The Senior Marketing Copywriter role at Proton offers an opportunity to contribute to a user-centric, mission-driven company. Collaborating closely with the Content and Growth Studio teams, you will shape the narrative, improving user journeys, and increasing conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

• Craft clear and engaging marketing copy that resonates with Proton’s brand voice.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing teams to understand audiences and business objectives.
• Work with the Growth Studio on creative campaign concepts for enhanced brand awareness.
• Utilize SEO techniques to improve search engine rankings when crafting copy.
• Interpret creative direction and technical information to produce persuasive, easy-to-understand content.
• Measure the effectiveness of your copy and make data-driven adjustments.
• Stay abreast of customer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in copywriting, content marketing, SEO, CRO, CRM, or a related field.
• Proven track record of creating highly effective marketing copy, either for a large company or within an agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of brand, particularly within a community context.
• Ability to work independently, exhibiting self-motivation and proactivity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in leveraging data for optimizing marketing strategies.
• Passion for the realms of security, tech, or privacy, with the ability to inspire others.

Nice to Have:

• Demonstrated success in content conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Prior experience in a marketing agency.
• Established online presence in the digital privacy space.
• CRM copywriting experience.
• Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing.
• Familiarity with the technology underpinning Proton products (e.g., encryption, email, and VPN protocols).
