With a focus on community development and social action, we collaborate with established organizations and schools globally to provide leadership programming for girls aged 13 to 18 years.

Overview:
Join us as the External Relations and Outreach Coordinator, a crucial role in our small but impactful team. As we grow, we seek an individual passionate about feminist and anti-colonial development work to drive our expansion and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance engagement with third-party media outlets and influencers.
- Secure speaking opportunities for our team at conferences, events, and workshops.
- Cultivate relationships with media, agencies, and influencers to create publicity and fundraising opportunities.
- Research and connect with potential corporate partners across our operational regions.
- Lead social media strategy development and content creation to expand our online presence.
- Manage day-to-day social media and communications activities, including blogs, newsletters, and website content.
About You:
You Will Be:
- Self-motivated and creative, with a drive to generate and implement new ideas.
- Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, global environment.
- A collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and adept at problem-solving under pressure.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Essential:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in communications, partnerships, or related fields.
- Proven track record in external relations, PR, communications, or marketing.
- Experience developing equitable partnerships with funders, media, and companies.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of development and gender equality models.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Desired:
- Knowledge of the charitable sector, particularly in small charities.
- Understanding of feminist organizational development and communication approaches.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, MailChimp, Google Drive, and SquareSpace.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
