Job Description:
Position: Data Entry Specialist
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Location: Denver (Remote)
Pay Range: $18.30 – $23.40 / hour (Dependent on experience)
Summary:
This full-time position on UCHealth’s Denials Management Payer Audit team in Denver, CO, requires previous office experience, preferably in a hospital setting. The role entails accurate data entry and communication with external entities involved in the audit process.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize various sources to perform data entry, capturing patient claim information.
- Validate and verify data entered, checking reports for errors and making corrections as necessary.
- Communicate with external entities involved in the audit process.
- Maintain knowledge of complex Medicare guidelines and third-party vendor requirements for review of denials.
- Address claims or software tracking issues, reporting recurring or unusual issues to supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of high-volume data entry experience with high accuracy levels in a professional office setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
Preferred:
- Healthcare experience.
