Job Description:
Position Summary:
As a Chef De Partie (CDP), you play a crucial role in supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a dynamic hotel kitchen. Your responsibilities include delivering consistently high-quality food, managing purchase orders, and ensuring unauthorized items are not received. You are expected to maintain the highest standards and consistent quality in daily food preparation, staying updated on new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4–5-star hotel, large-scale resort, buffet restaurant, fine dining restaurant, hotel or restaurant commissary, or in the cruise line industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or training in cooking, culinary short courses, catering, commercial cooking, pastry, and baking is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and demonstrate culinary fundamentals and knife skills.
- Extensive knowledge of food handling procedures in compliance with public health standards.
