Job Description:
Be part of one of the largest wholesale insurance distributors in the U.S., CRC Group, and join as a Claims Manager (Remote). In this role, you will oversee, manage, and support all activities of the claims employees and operations of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Department Management: Supervise and coordinate the claims department and staff, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Information Dissemination: Organize and disseminate information affecting the claims department to ensure compliance.
- Workflow Control: Manage workflow process through Claims Coordinators, reviewing staff allocation to meet or exceed productivity goals.
- Loss Analysis: Review, analyze, track, and take appropriate action on losses to provide account loss ratios and claims history to senior management.
- Training: Train claims staff on new policies or procedures to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Claims Oversight: Oversee and audit claims process, ensuring proper documentation and approval of payments.
- Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with agents and adjustors.
- Reporting: Prepare and forward weekly, quarterly, and monthly claim reports to appropriate parties.
Qualifications:
Required:
- College degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of Claims handling experience, with one year of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in insurance industry knowledge and claim processing.
- Ability to make independent decisions following company guidelines with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, time management, and detail skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and office skills.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
Preferred:
- Commercial and multi-line knowledge.
- Adjusting experience.
