Job Description:
WINGS seeks a part-time Communication Consultant to join our dynamic team for a three-month period (with potential for extension). This role, requiring 20 hours per week, welcomes applications from qualified candidates worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Create and publish engaging content across various communication platforms, including the website and social media.
- Coordinate and craft mailers, newsletters, and publication content.
- Curate and edit articles from the WINGS network for monthly newsletters.
- Manage the production of communication materials, including publications and videos.
- Design graphics, GIFs, and videos using Canva.
- Update multiple websites and draft communication plans.
- Collaborate with members, partners, and service providers.
- Monitor and report on key communication metrics, including social media analytics.
- Plan and execute online events, providing coverage for WINGS’ participation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in communication roles.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in content creation for blogs, case studies, and social media.
- Familiarity with all social media platforms and digital tools.
- Basic website management skills.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp for managing mailing lists.
- Intermediate design and video production skills, particularly with Canva.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of global issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and remote communication skills.
Details:
- Duration: 20 hours per week, starting immediately until May 31, 2024, with potential extension.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00-16:00 UTC.
