Role Overview:

As a Payroll Specialist at Escalent, you will play a vital role in processing bi-weekly payroll for US legal entities while ensuring compliance with regulations and providing top-notch customer service to employees. This role offers flexibility with a 30-hour workweek and hourly pay ranging from $25 to $28, with eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process employee payroll for multiple legal entities, adhering to different payroll cycles.
  • Review and verify payroll data, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Calculate adjustments, bonuses, and commissions, collaborating with the HR team as needed.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and handle sensitive data with integrity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Paylocity.
  • Multi-state processing experience.
