Job Summary:
Join our team as an Underwriter, HOA, where you’ll play a vital role in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating both new and renewal business. Collaborate with agents and insureds to ensure accurate policy coverage, maintain professional relationships, and support the growth of our underwriting department. Responsibilities:
- Review new business applications and determine policy eligibility
- Handle incoming inquiries from agents and insureds via phone, email, and fax
- Maintain knowledge of state guidelines and underwriting policies
- Coordinate policy changes and documentation requirements
- Foster agent relationships and provide guidance on submission quality
- Process and maintain workflow in a timely manner
- Handle underwriting-related calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to adapt to changing procedures and policies
