Job Summary:
As a Virtual Patient Service Representative, you will play a crucial role as the interface between Mindful Health and its clients, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and courtesy. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, scheduling appointments, handling calls, and ensuring accurate documentation. Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients courteously and address their needs efficiently.
- Manage call volume within the call center, ensuring smooth operations.
- Document all incoming calls in the call tracking system.
- Accurately enter client information into the Electronic Health record, including demographics, insurance, and payment details.
- Ensure completion of required paperwork and forms before appointments and follow up with clients if necessary.
- Schedule initial and follow-up sessions for virtual providers.
- Reschedule virtual patients who cancel or miss appointments and maintain documentation.
- Pre-register and schedule patients using the ONLINE INTAKE/SCHEDULING WORKLIST.
- Remind patients of appointments through outbound calls and coordinate care resolution with patients, providers, and pharmacies.
- Track appointments and maintain complete, timely, and accurate information.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
- Process client payments for virtual sessions, including credit card transactions and backend billing.
- Liaise with the billing department to collect outstanding balances for virtual clients.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of front desk or receptionist experience.
- Experience within a behavioral health outpatient or inpatient facility is a plus.
- Spanish language proficiency is a benefit.
