Job Description:
Beiersdorf is seeking a Finance and IT Director – CEWA to join its team in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a full-time director position. The successful candidate will have experience in balance sheet review, business strategy, cost engineering, and cost management. The Finance and IT Director – CEWA will be responsible for managing and overseeing the finance and IT functions in the Central, East and West Africa (CEWA) region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finance and IT functions in the CEWA region.
- Develop and implement business strategies to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the CEWA region.
- Review and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage the cost engineering and cost management functions in the CEWA region.
- Implement IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations in the CEWA region.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in balance sheet review, business strategy, cost engineering, and cost management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
