Content Writer

Adyen is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our marketing team in London, UK. This role supports both the UK Marketing team and the Global Content team. We value diversity, collaboration, and motivation, and we are looking for an individual who embodies the Adyen Formula.

Responsibilities:

• Write copy for short-form and long-form content across channels like blogs, reports, event pitches, ad copy, landing pages, and scripts
• Transform complex ideas into actionable content strategies, supporting marketing efforts and reinforcing our position as an industry leader
• Translate commercial goals into content strategy proactively
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and design partners from kickoff to delivery, maintaining diligence with details and deadlines
• Research and curate background information, data, audience insights, and newsworthy information for content creation
• Set clear goals and analyze content impact, applying insights and digital marketing content best practices
• Deliver consistent, high-value content adhering to Adyen content guidelines

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in English language content writing
• Strong storytelling ability with a curiosity to understand audience motivations, behaviors, and preferences
• Impeccable attention to detail and a journalistic attitude, with a background in PR and/or journalism as a plus
• Understanding of writing for digital channels, blending user experience and channel best practices in the context of content marketing
• Self-starting capability with adherence to deadlines, driving projects forward while being open to iteration and feedback
• Full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
• Based in London, UK, with some domestic and international travel required
